If you know me you will know that I love travelling, this year the time has come again for me to move to a new city and explore some new stuff.
After an amazing four years in Manchester, where I really grew as an artist and person, I feel it's time to expand my horizons once again and add another city to my story.
I will never shake Manchester or Stoke for that matter. I always wanted to live in Manchester growing up, as it was the closest place to me where everything was happening. It truly has everything you could want, however I'm a restless soul and like to make things hard for myself by constantly moving!
Manchester will always be my second home, Stoke first of course! I love those two cities dearly, however I can't help but think there's much more out there to see and experience! I am excited to have the opportunity to paint a whole new city landscape full of blank canvases again and add more great people to my network of friends.
I have already been blessed with some great mural opportunities in Sheffield and I'm looking forward to doing more up here. I will still be working in Stoke and Manchester too, on both personal and commercial projects and am looking to work on more projects abroad in the coming years.
I have also been fortunate enough to land a little studio for myself, my first proper studio, at Kelham Island Arts Collective. I am currently working on some studio paintings whilst its not peak mural season. I'm excited to develop this side of my practice a lot more this year and show some of the work in galleries.
I have to thank Simon and Kieran from KIAC for the warm welcome and letting me loose on the front of the building! This mural was such a great way to kick off my time here and there's much more to look forward to.
